Ascend the mountain by another long (2 hours) walk/ride starting next to the Spar supermarket in Llanberis, heading for the Youth Hostel at GR 574597. Keep following the same road until you get to a T junction. Take a left turn and follow the Telegraph Valley track, all the way to Bwlch Maesgwm at GR 573558. Go through the gate, and turn left. Now you have a steep slog to the summit, passing several false tops. After getting your breath back, and taking in the awesome view (if you re lucky!), turn around, and make your descent. Hopefully you paid attention to all the obstacles you saw on the way up! These make for a great roller-coaster ride on the way down! Again, take care with the gates, and look out for other trail-users, including sheep!!!
