Snowdonia can boast probably the best canoeing environment in
the U.K., and offers an unrivalled destination for paddlers of
all abilities. White water rivers and mountain lakes, sea cliffs,
surf beaches and tidal races - there are endless possibilities
within easy reach of Llanberis.
White water options abound in Snowdonia, from classic touring
rivers such as Llugwy, Glaslyn and Conwy to famous test pieces
such as the Ogwen, Lledr and Fairy Glen.
Freestyle paddlers will find guaranteed tidal play spots

at the Swellies and Stanley Embankment, whle dedicated hair boaters
can search for gnarly creeks among the Snowdonia mountains.
It's not all about extreme action, with the tidal estuaries of
the Conwy, Mawddach, Dyfi and Dwyryd a haven for open boaters
and flat water tourers.
Sea paddlers are spoiled for choice in Snowdonia. Our world-class
sea kayaking coastline offers endless scope, from the monster
tide races of Penrhyn Mawr and N.Stack to the surf beaches of
the Lleyn and the committing offshore trips to Bardsey and the
Sherries
